All you need is the following:
- Modeling compound from your local craft store, or something similar.
- Paint pen and regular paint that is non-toxic
- Non-toxic gloss
- Paint brushes
- Additional tools (optional)
- Drying area for your masterpiece
-
Start off with molding a body for your mouse; you may study pictures of mice that are real,–or animated. Whether if you imagined riding a mouse in your house. You can make your mouse’s body long or short. Be sure to use less material,–if you want to make 2 sets of sculptures.
Set your mouse’s molded body aside, and mold a tail for your mouse’s body. Again… it can be long or short. You can make it spiral if you want. Don’t go too thin,–otherwise it will break when painting later on. There are 2 preferences if your mouse’s tail wanted to be spiral in either direction. Just use your imagination…
Set the molded tail aside. And mold your mouse’s head. You can choose it to be animated,–with his/her ears on top of her head, or natural form.
Set his/her head what you’ve just molded aside. Mold his/her legs.
-
Connect your mouse’s tail at one end, and his/her head at the another end. Be sure to connect them firmly. You can choose to set his/her head to an upright position (recommended), or pointing towards the ground. Don’t let it’s head point the wrong way.
Attatch his/her legs what you’ve just molded earlier. Place them under his/her body. You might need a little stand to enable it to stand on it’s legs. Once you’ve finished building your sculpture via the first stage, let it dry for a while.
-
Build and place a figure of yourself on your mouse’s back. Varify if you as a sculpture is riding on his/her back correctly. Be sure to connect it firmly. Adjust riding preferences if needed.
Allow your work to dry at your safe location.
-
Paint and gloss your masterpiece., and let it dry between paint jobs, and gloss jobs. If you gloss it in layers, and you confirmed your work is shiny enough, but you want to keep glossing overall; you can do it daily, but it will take lots of time. If you managed to gloss it without any trouble; you can let it dry for a long time.
